Optical illusion shadow

Ok, so not all of us are blessed with huge, wide, beautiful eyes that are so large you could give a cow a run for it's money. However, that is not to say you can't utilise make up in a way that will accentuate your natural features, after all, that is what it's there for, (that and to hide the features you dont want people to see-queue the monthly visit of a red mountain in the centre of my forehead).

In this eye look I tried to incorporate summer trends, so pops of colour (here Ive used cranberry- a fave of mine by MAC) to show how narrower eyes can be made to look larger.

Eyes (all MAC)
-Cosy Grey (transition)
-Cranberry (crease and inner and outer lid)
-Shroom and Angelic presses pigment.
-Bronze shadow OR Undercurrent liner
-Fluidline gel liner in Blacktrack

(Brushes listed all MAC)

1)Start by using a 217 in the crease with cosy grey, be quite generous with coverage

2) Next using a 239 pack cranberry on the inner and outer corners of the lid, and use a 219 to define your crease with it. Blend this out with a 217.

3) Pack shroom on the centre of the lid, then using a 242 and your Fix+ spray pack the Angelic pigment over shroom so the light catches the centre of the eye.

4) I wanted a different colour for underneath the eye so I placed Bronze shadow underneath, something that would be nice if you felt a bit more experimental would be something like undercurrent liner (an amazing deep green with shimmer), a good alternative if looking for Make up for a festival to go with your statutory flower head band.

5) Line the eye with Blacktrack fluidline and a 209 and a 210 for precision for your flick.

Hope this has helped anyone looking to emphasize there eyes as a feature!
